The food is very tasty and everything is self-cooked. The portions are big and you really get full. Our service was also very friendly. We can really recommend it.

I don't usually write reviews. But here it seems appropriate to me. I ate a carp. Without warning, they brought me the biggest fish I have ever seen. Perhaps due to its size, it was also the worst. Since you pay by weight, I also know how big or heavy it was: 1.3 kg. If one were decent, one would ask the guest beforehand whether he would like a XXXXL fish. This is how you feel ripped off ...

Absolute feel-good atmosphere in a family-run hotel with excellent cuisine and friendly service. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the view over the Louisa lake (gondola pond) is fantastic and absolutely relaxing. The area invites you to go hiking with well-signposted forest paths and the brine baths, therapy applications, theater, natural stage and natural bath can be reached in 10 minutes on foot. During my stay of several weeks, I almost felt at home and always very well looked after. Thanks to the entire team and especially to the Schneider family for their helpfulness (dentist, doctor, ice compresses, etc.). I can recommend the hotel for every age group.

Today we had dinner at the golden anchor. I ordered Parisian schnitzel. The food was a dream. Homemade croquettes were amazing, the schnitzel was divine and the carrots a treat for the palate. Many thanks to the chef.

We went here for dinner yesterday. The service is great, despite a full house. The food was perfect, tasty and quickly prepared. Price-performance ratio is great.

We were here for dinner tonight. Delicious. Pork sirloin steak with side dishes. Great meat. Excellent red wine, very friendly service. Class.

A nice atmosphere, the food was great and you could enjoy it, but you got to feel that you are only a guest and not a local, because these were preferred and served faster. Which is very sad, because I have already gone to the Golden Anchor where the service staff were still in the diapers. And last but not least, you always open the wine in front of the guest. That is essential !!!

Very nice located on Luisateich hotel with great food. Food very fresh in top quality. Good price level and friendly service. Very centrally located in the beautiful Bad Elster, near the spa park and the town center.

Inexpensive accommodation in the beautiful bath Elster. Rooms are very clean and functional with modern bathroom. Restaurant offers home cooking. From the breakfast room and terrace great view of the lake. Breakfast in very good quality, if you're lucky, served the Mitsiebziger boss as an absolute gentleman himself!

We only stayed at the restaurant which is serving good local cuisine. All dishes were fresh and tasty. We especially like the large cauliflower with potatoes and sauce hollandaise. Service was friendly but could be more efficient. Also all tables were reserved though not always occupied. In the summer they also have a nice terrace.

Very nice restaurant overlooking the gondola pond. Interior is very cozy. The service was super friendly and the food was excellent! We have not eaten that well for a long time !!! Everything freshly prepared. Was really worth his money. Another word about the toilets .... Really stylish! And of course very clean ... So everything was great!

Wonderful Atmosphere & Food

Food in this establishment is tasty and deserves 5 stars. But the service is surly and rude. No concept of customer first. Beware, all tables are forever marked reserved despite the place being half empty. They could do with staff training. And then this will be the place to go.
